Exchange box from Germany

WOW !What a wonderful box we got from our German partners, we were impressed !
We tasted the cake ( Stollen ? ) and the gummi bears plus the sausages !! The beer can suffered a terrible accident, oh well ... the cake was so delicious and we even invited our Director and Vice- Director to taste it !! We also saw the power point on Germany, well done ! We thank you for your selection and by the way the sausages were also good ! The students really appreciated them !

Exchange box from Poland

Last week we got the Polish exchange box. It had arrived the week before and the delicious cookies had been attacked by Portuguese ants !!
We managed to save quite a few, and they were very good ! Especially the homemade ones which some of the teachers also tried !
We sent our exchange box last Monday, the 9th January

3. A barrete ( cap used by Campinos in Ribatejo )
4. Some rice ( a cereal very much used in our diet )
5. Chouriço ( traditional everywhere made with pork meat )
6. A tin of tunna ( fish appreciated by the Portuguese and caught in its seas)
7. A chocolate made in Portugal
8. A CD with portuguese music
9. A cork bottle cap with the Galo de Barcelos
10. Recipe for arroz doce ( sweet rice ) and the legend of galo de Barcelos
( cultural reference for our country )
